These AI Product Terms ("AI Terms") apply to your use of DataDack's AI-related products and services, including the LLM Proxy, AI Gateway, and associated features.
1. Definitions
- "AI Gateway" or "LLM Proxy" means the service provided by DataDack that allows users to interact with third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
- "Input" means any data, text, or prompts provided by you to the AI Services.
- "Output" means the content generated by the AI Services based on your Input.
- "Non-DataDack Services" means third-party AI models and services provided by external entities.
2. Third-Party Provider Terms
DataDack acts as a gateway to various third-party AI providers. Your use of these services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective providers. By using a specific model through DataDack, you agree to comply with that provider's terms (e.g., OpenAI's Usage Policies, Anthropic's Terms of Service).
3. Customer Content (Input and Output)
- Ownership: You retain all rights, title, and interest in your Input. To the extent permitted by law, you own the Output generated through your use of the AI Services.
- License to DataDack: You grant DataDack a limited license to process your Input and Output solely to provide the Service, including routing requests, monitoring usage, and performing audits.
- Training Data: DataDack does not use your Input or Output to train our own models or the models of third-party providers unless you explicitly opt-in to such programs (if available).
4. Usage Restrictions
In addition to the general Terms of Use, you agree not to:
- Use the AI Services to generate harmful, illegal, or unethical content.
- Attempt to circumvent any safety filters or rate limits imposed by DataDack or third-party providers.
- Misrepresent the source of AI-generated content as being solely human-generated.
- Use the AI Services in a way that violates any applicable laws or the policies of the underlying AI model providers.
5. Stealth and Beta Models
We may occasionally offer access to "Stealth" or "Beta" models. These are provided for testing purposes only, come with no warranties, and may have different data retention or usage policies.
6. Disclaimers
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or objectionable. DataDack does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any Output. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any Output before use.
7. Limitation of Liability
DataDack is not responsible for any damages resulting from your use of third-party AI models or any inaccuracies in the content generated by them.
